Camp ZOE Farm – Healthy C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Day Camp
What Is It?
The Healthy C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Daycamp consists of one day extended day trips to Camp ZOE Farm located in Southern Maryland. Using C.H.O.I.C.E.S as an acronym topics of discussion include Character, Health, Opportunities, Integrity, Careers, Entrepreneurship and Sexuality. At the camp boys and girls between the ages of 10-18, as well as families, have the opportunity to expand their interests and experiences through teambuilding and leadership exercises.
Non-competitive activities include horseback riding, field activities, arts and crafts and bird watching in a safe, nurturing environment. At Camp ZOE Farm we model our values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and emphasize environmental awareness so that participants gain confidence in a supportive atmosphere that fosters skill development and memories that last a lifetime. Discussions on healthy choices and career goals engage participants in conversations surrounding life skills and decision making.
Lunch consists of a good old fashioned cookout, followed by an afternoon of baseball, horseshoes, and an ice cream social.
