Healthy C.H.O.I.C.E.S Daycamp 

What is it?

The Healthy C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Daycamp consists of one day extended day trips to Camp ZOE Farm located in Southern Maryland.  At the camp boys and girls between the ages of 10-13 have the opportunity to expand their interests and experiences through teambuilding and leadership exercises.

Non-competitive activities in a safe, nurturing environment model our values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and emphasize environmental awareness. Children learn confidence in a supportive atmosphere that fosters skill development and memories that last a lifetime.  Discussions on healthy choices and career goals engage participants in conversations surrounding life skills and decision making.  

Lunch consists of a good old fashioned cookout, followed by an afternoon of baseball, horseshoes, and an ice cream social.

Camp ZOE Farm 2009 was a colloboration of fifty children between the ages of 10-13 from Washington, DC and Prince Georges County, MD.   Activities consisted of horseback riding, kickball, arts and crafts and bird watching. It was an awesome day!
